Thank you so much for sharing this information! It’s great to have resources like this.

I’m also curious if you have advice tailored to folks who want to avoid investing in stocks? I’m increasingly aware that investing in stocks drives the “enshitification” and oligarchy that oppresses us, but aside from HYSA and asset purchases I’m kind of stuck for ideas.

I'm so glad you liked this resource, Trenton! I'm actually researching ways that other countries approach retirement to see if there's any alternative to investing in stocks. I haven't found anything that I feel good about yet tbh

Thank you for taking the time to respond and share your research progress. 😊 I can imagine it’s difficult to find workable solutions when looking at other countries. I would think those would be structural/systemic solutions that we would have to build political support and organization for. 😢

Still, it’s encouraging to read that you’re looking for so many ways to build wealth and financial security! I’m looking forward to reading more of your findings! Wishing you the best!

Really appreciate how practical this breakdown is, especially the state-sponsored IRA list. The tip about using IRS limits as goalposts instead of obsessing over calculators is lowkey genius, makes the whole thing feel more managable. Dunno why more financial guides dont frame it this way.
