Postponed: Budgeting for a World on Fire ❤️🔥
We'll start one month later on April 10! Register by April 7.
Hello to the 4,766 hotties who subscribe to this newsletter! Thank you for being here.
Registration for my next group offering, Budgeting for a World on Fire was supposed to close today, and the group was supposed to have its first meeting on Thursday, March 13. But I’ve decided to postpone the group for two reasons:
We didn’t have enough sign-ups for the class to move forward. Part of me wishes I’d been more aggressive with marketing this group, but there’s a bigger part of me that understands our communities have more urgent things to tend to than our finances right now. I trust that this offering will reach the right people in the right time.
I’m on the brink of serious burnout. Lately, I’ve been supporting people through really heavy financial situations amidst Trump’s presidency, and I find myself needing more time to rest and recuperate after each session.
That being said, I don’t feel good about starting the group this month knowing I’m not at my best mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Holding this space for y’all is a big job. I take it very seriously, and I want to ensure I’m showing up for it at full capacity and with as much support as possible.
New dates: Second Thursday of the month, from 4-5:30pm PST starting on April 10
Budgeting for a World on Fire will focus on the same topics:
building financial resilience during wild political times & back-to-back climate catastrophes
built-in coworking times so you can finally cross all those annoying money- or work-related tasks off your to-do list
developing financial skills that will carry over into anti-capitalist economic structures, like worker-owned co-ops and mutual aid groups.

Calling our rich allies and community members: You are invited to fund a full or partial scholarship for those who could use the support.
Please reach out to Andrea at hello@queerandtranswealth.org to set this up.
I hope we get to work together soon! <3

It makes sense that people that are having financial hardship can’t pay $750 for a course
