In response to the 2024 elections, Queer & Trans Wealth will be providing free financial coaching for people who are directly affected by the election results. Eligible applicants include:

  • Queer & trans people who live in states where anti-trans legislation has been passed or introduced

  • Queer & trans people who want to move to safer states where their rights are still protected

  • Trans people who are saving for gender-affirming surgery

  • Parents of trans children who want to move to safe states

As of 11/19, I can only provide 5 fully-funded spots. Your support could allow me to extend this service to more people who need it.

  • Use this form to apply. You can apply for any reason, but I will be prioritizing people of color who need to make a plan to move out of red states.

  • If you choose to sponsor someone in particular, they will receive their sessions right away.

    Here are the criteria I’m looking at for who gets selected to receive free sessions:

    1. State - Does the applicant live in a state that recently passed anti-trans or anti-LGBTQ legislation?

    2. People of color to the front

    3. Concerns - I’ll be prioritizing people who need to make a financial plan for moving to a different state and/or saving for gender-affirming surgery

    I’m raising my prices in January 2025 to $175 per session for people who buy 3- or 6-month packages.

  • Yes! We encourage you to tell your other cisgender and straight friends, too!

  • Cisgender & straight parents of trans youth are welcome to apply.

    Other than that, you must be queer or trans to qualify for this scholarship.

  • I will post progress reports every two weeks (every other Thursday) starting on December 5.

    Every 2 weeks, I’ll announce

    • how many sessions have been funded

    • how many community members have been served

    Applicants will receive an email every two weeks whether or not they are selected.
