Thank you for this interesting offering. Today at a brunch some of us (mostly ages 50-70) discussed the need for resilience strategies and the sense that our retirement funds and bank accounts are no longer protected. We donβt know of any alternatives unless you are extremely wealthy and can put your money in a bank in another country (or I guess stash cash under your mattress??) Will this course cover alternative structures to US banking and retirement accounts in a collapsing empire and oligarchy (who has your social security and other info)? Are there any experts who can impart this info for progressive queer BIPOC communities?
thanks for your question, Judy! We won't be covering retirement alternatives in the group. The group is really for folx who are getting started with their financial goals, or for people who started at some point and just lost steam. It's for community, accountability, and anti-capitalist framework around finances. I'll be sure to reach out to ask around about retirement alternatives though!
Commenting so I can remember this. I definitely am interested, friend!
Off topic, sorry. Do you still feel like the stock will continue to be strong? π
